Basin to south of Bowes Museum


Raised bed walls, now basin. c1885. By J Pellechet. For J
Bowes. Ashlar, approx 0.7m high, rectangular in plan with
semicircular east and west apsidal ends. Formerly a bandstand
stood at the centre of the raised bed. Deeply moulded walls
have wide flat coping.
