6/171 Rose Cottage and Fuschia Cottage

GV II

Pair of cottages, late C17 or early C18, rubble stone with stone
tiled roof, ridge stack and north end wall stack. 2 storey.
Centre section with flush quoins to left, first floor large ovolo-
moulded single light and 2-light ovolo-moulded recessed mullion
window with iron casement. Ground floor door in flush surround
and 3-light ovolo-moulded recessed mullion window with hoodmould
and relieving arch over. Iron opening light. Right end slightly
lower with door to Rose Cottage in flush surround with key stone.
South end wall rendered with 3-light cyma-moulded recessed mullion
window and 2-light bead-moulded upper window. Rear wall stack and
low rear wing. Left end has coped north gable and stack with
cyma-moulded flush 2-light mullion window above and renewed 3-light
mullion window with hoodmould below. C20 windows in north end
wall.
