William Sakins was falconer to 3 british kings, and must have been very good at this, his body lies in great livermere churchyard, alongside that of his wife. The headstone is a listed building, and must be one of the smallest listed buildings there are. It is now starting to deteriorate, and is need of help to restore it to the glory it should have. The last 300 years this have taken their toll of this lovely little piece of history.
