House, latterly 2 dwellings. Early C16. Stack inserted and floored C17.
Timber frame, plastered. Steeply pitched pantiled roof. 3 cells with a small
open hall originally, stack inserted at upper end of hall. Now all 2 storeys.
Ground floor: entrance to right of centre in original cross passage position,
a 4-panelled door in a glazed porch, 3-light C19 casements, brick lean-to
outshut to left. First floor 2-light C19 casements. Ridge stack to left of
centre. Left gable end exposed plates and purlins. Right gable end brick
lean-to outshut. Interior: mortices for diamond mullioned windows, stop
chamfered axial binding beam and joists in parlour, jowled posts, butt purlin
collar roof with windbraces.
