Early C19. 2 storeys, red brick with hipped tiled roof and 1 chimney. Extends
back from street with a further front at rear.
Street front: Parapet with stone cope. Stone lintels grooved as flat arches.
2 windows on 1st floor, glazing bar sashes in flush frames. Door to left
on ground floor with 6 moulded panels and over-light. Large rectangular shop
window to right with moulded frame. Cast iron (hand and wreath) knocker.
Cottage formed by rear extension. 2 ranges of 2 light windows, small part
glazing bar casements on ground floor, glazing bars 1st floor with 1 sash
per window. Central 4 panel door with plain brackets to hood. Small garden
closed in by brick wall. Reached by through passage to left of No 20.
