Farmhouse. C17 with later alterations. Red brick to left; roughcast, probably on
brick, to cross-wing to right; old plain-tile roof; brick ridge stacks, massive
ridge stack to left. 2 storey and attic; 3-window range. Half-glazed double
doors to centre. Three 2-light wood casements to left. 20-pane unhorned sash to
first floor end of cross wing. 6-pane window to gable end of cross-wing. Grey
brick with red brick dressings to part of rear. Winder staircase from ground
floor to attic. Moulded ceiling beams to ground floor centre. Open fireplace
with painted Tudor arch and C19 cast-iron range to ground floor centre. Blocked
fireplace to kitchen at ground floor left. Square panelling to room to rear. C18
fielded panelling to first floor right.
