Substantial early-mid C19 villa. Stucco; low pitched slated roofs with eaves
soffits. 3 storeys, 5 windows. Splayed bays on returns. Recessed sash windows.
Roman Doric porch with paired columns and entablature. long rear wing in similar
style.
Parkfield Cottages appear to be the original farmhouse on to which the more
imposing Parkfield House was built; and are now let as separate dwellings although
there is no physical separation. C18 building, each 2 storeys, 2 windows.
Fairly high pitched tiled roof. Painted brick with lst floor band. Cambered
brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars, those on ground floor tripartite.
One upper window blocked, another a modern insertion. Between these 2 and
Parkfield a modernised part; and considerable west extensions of late C19 and
later.
