House. c.1830. Stucco with stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 3
bays, the central bay breaks forward under gable. Stone
base, wide eaves and gables. Windows have 4-light mullioned
glazing with cusped reticulated tracery heads, possibly of
iron (q.v. No. 126, Orrell Road, Orrell). Entrance has
similar 3-light overlight and 6-panel door obscured by C20
glazed porch. Brick gable-end stacks. Built for Haigh Hall
estate.
