2/197 Bonhay's Farmhouse

G.V. II

Small farmhouse. C18. Rubble walls, roughcast. Thatch roof with hipped ends.
2 brick stacks, one at left hand, in from hip apex, one at right hand, at hip
apex. C20. 1½ storeys. c 4 windows, C20 plastic casements, with pseudo-
lozenge lights in the glass. C20 wooden cills. Plank front door at centre,
with strap hinges and single light, C20. C20 porch with flat parapet and raised
corners. Included for Group Value. "RCHM Dorset I", p 264 (9).
