GV II
House, dated 1823 (RCHM) with C20 extensions. Banded flint and rubble,
extensions in brick (stretcher bard). Hipped, thatched roof with brick
stacks to ends of original range. 2 storeys, 3 window range (to original
range). Ground floor has C20, 3-light casements with horizontal glazing
bars inserted under segmental brick arches flanking a central, enclosed
wooden porch with segmental head. 2-light, wooden casements with
horizontal glazing bars above. "RCHM, Dorset, vol III", p 205.
