SY 49 SE SHIPTON GORGE CHAPEL STREET

2/238 Manner Farmhouse

GV II

Detached Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed rubble-stone walls. Slate
roof. Brick stacks at each gable-end. 2 storeys. 3 windows, 3-
light, wood-framed and iron casements with original lead lights.
4-light at top left. Wood cills to ground floor. Stone voussoirs
to all windows. Front door, just right of centre, C19 with recess
panels and 2 top lights. Right hand build, mid C19 (straight joint).
2 storeys. 2 windows, cast-iron casements with glazing-bars, left
hand ground of 3 lights, remainder of 2 lights. Stone steps at gable
end to top door. (Possible Dairy and Cheese House).
