SK 80 SE MANTON ST. MARY'S ROAD (South side)

GV II


House, probably late C17 with later alterations. Coursed rubble with ashlar
dressings and big stepped stones in coped gable. 2 storeys, 2 unit plan,
with full height canted ashlar bay to left which has inserted wood casements,
though stone hoodmould survives. Right of this, a 3-light casement to ground
floor has an incised keystone in the string course which forms its head.
Above it is a 6-light sash window with incised keystone, and quoins. New
windows in gable. Gable and axial stacks of brick.
