House. c.1660 in Fen Artisan Mannerist style, with alterations
of late C18 and C20. Red brick, pantile roof, raised brick coped
gables, single wall, and ridge brick stacks. 2 storey with
garret, 2 bay gabled street front with 2 stepped projecting brick
string courses with pendants terminating on the first floor in
lozenges. To the garret are single pilasters to either side of
the central light, supporting a further dentillated string
course. In the gable are 3 large lozenges having concave sides
and dentillations. To ground floor 2 glazing bar sashes. To
first floor a pair of similar windows, that to the right with a
circular pendant to the cill. In the garret is a single similar
window. All windows have segmental gauged brick arched heads.
To the right a 2 storey single bay late C18 pent roofed extension
with tumbled gables, having single glazing bar sashes to each
floor, the upper one being a sliding sash. Further decorative
brickwork to sides and rear. At the back a C20 extension.
Interior substantially altered but retains moulded beam with
chamfered stop.
