Little Daffaluke

Farmhouse. Probably C16 and C17. Timber-frame, sandstone rubble and
asbestos slate roof; brick stacks. Rectangular plan aligned west-south-
west/east-north-east. One storey and attic. South elevation has two
windows, one 2-light late C19 casement in gabled half-dormer to left and
one 4-light raking-top dormer to right, also with casements. Ground floor
has two 2-light casements beneath the raking-top dormer and early C20 glazed
porch to left containing contemporary ledged entrance door. North elevation
had exposed timber-framing with irregular panels approximating to squares.
Interior (not inspected) previously listed as having "some three crucks
complete". (RCHM, Vol I, p 199).
