Former public house, now a house. 1768. Brick, whitewashed, with rubble
plinth and slate roof. First floor band, cogged eaves, brick coped
gables. 2 gable and single ridge stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Front has
an off-centre beaded 6-panel door, the top 2 panels glazed. To its left,a
plain sash. To its right, a small glazing bar casement flanked by single
plain sashes. These windows and the door have segmental heads. Above,
three 2-light casements of various sizes. Blank west gable has, above, a
datestone inscribed 'W J L 1768'.
