Terrace of town houses. c.1800-20 Portman Estate development. Stock brick
with channelled and block rusticated stucco ground floors; concealed slate
roofs. 4 storeys and basements. Principally 3-window wide fronts,
Nos. 123-125 combined 4-window fronts. Doorways to left, semicircular
arched with panelled doors and Greek Doric columned side lights, Coade
imposts, under delicately patterned fanlights with lead ornament. Recessed
sashes, some with glazing bars, under flat gauged arches to upper floors.
Plat band finishing off ground floor stuccowork; stucco crowning cornices
and blocking course. Original, cast iron, geometric patterned 1st floor
balconies. Cast iron area railings with urn finials. Part of one of the
most extensive and intact sequences of Georgian terraced houses in London.
