House, then public house, now mixed residential and commercial use. C17, remodelled late C18. Coursed limestone rubble with dressed quoins; dressed stone blocks beneath eaves. Gabled stone slate roof; rendered stone end stacks finished in late C18 brick. Two-unit through-passage plan. Two storeys and attic; symmetrical three-window range, C20 flat hood over C20 central door and lights. Timber lintels over late C18 tripartite sashes, two gabled roof dormers have C19 two-light casements with glazing bars.

Rear: C18 gabled dormer had C20 extension; C18 one-storey service wing of similar materials with end stack of stone finished in brick.

Interior: originally had central through-passage. First floor not inspected.
