House. Mid to later C18; altered. Brown handmade brick in English Garden
Wall bond (2:1), slate roof. T-plan formed by single-depth 2-unit front
range with rear wing. Principal element of 3 storeys and 2 bays, almost
symmetrical; doorway offset right of centre has 4-pane overlight and broad
rendered surround; immediately to left is head of former window; otherwise, 2
windows on each floor, of equal width but diminishing height, all with
shallow segmental heads and raised stone sills, and 4-pane sashes with
exposed boxes. Side wall chimney to left; hipped roof of low pitch. Right
return wall rendered. Rear wing of 2-storeys, has inter alia a horizontal
sliding sash window at 1st floor of each side.
