House, early C19. Brick, stone dressings, slate roof. Double pile 2 bay
plan. Two storeys, symmetrical, gable chimneys; stone band at 1st floor;
centre of facade slightly stepped forward; door with porch of Ionic
pilasters, entablature, and rectangular fanlight; all windows sashed with
glazing bars, stone sills, splayed stone heads. Narrow 2-storey extension
to rear. Interior: good contemporary staircase of simple Georgian design.
In garden behind house is a very large bottle-shaped well with brick lining,
(not included in the item).
