GV II

Memorial "in memory of Elizabeth Julia Robinson of Parnham". Dated 1906.
"This memorial erected by Vincent Joseph Robinson C.I.E. l906".
Inscriptions on central column. Style of covered market-cross. Ham stone
ashlar. Stone slate pyramidal roof, with stone copings to the hips.
Portland stone pinnacles to the corner buttresses and central apex. Square
plan. 4 open sides with four-centred arches, moulded and straight-chamfered
jambs. Hood-moulds over with ogival heads and recessed paterae. Diagonal
buttresses have 2 set-offs, and then square shafting with pinnacles. Square
central column with chamfered stone plinth. Two steps and octagonal flag-
stone floor.
