Includes: No.4 WALKER STREET.
Group of 3 houses occupying corner site. c1840. Brick with
Welsh slate roof. 2 storys, 4-window range. Symmetrical
section to right, comprising No.61 and part of No.4 Walker
Street, with central entrance to No.61. Segmentally-arched
entrance with recessed doorcase with fluted Ionic pilasters,
4-panelled doors and fanlight. Doorway is flanked by
tripartite sash windows in segmental arches. Stone sill band
to three 12-pane sash windows above. No.59 has similar doorway
to left, and full-height ashlar-faced canted bay with 2-pane
sash windows in each face, cornice over each floor and high
blocking course. Yellow brick angle quoins. Walker Street
return a 5-window range with doorway with 4-panelled door, and
flanking 12-pane sash windows with wide splayed brick arched
heads.
