SU 57 NE BASILDON

1/1 Tomb Farmhouse

G.V. II

Farmhouse. Late C17 with early C20 partial refacing and additions to south.
Flint with brick dressings, plinth and lacing courses. Old tile roof, half
hipped to left, and gabled cross wing to right with exposed queen post truss.
Large C17 stack to right at rear, C20 stack in centre to rear and C20 ridge
stack above door off-centre to left. 2 storeys. 3 first floor 2-light
leaded casements to left and one 3-light C20 leaded casement in cross wing
to right. 3 ground floor segmental headed leaded cross windows to left,
and single 3-light C20 leaded casement in cross window to right. C20
segmental headed 9 panelled door between first and second windows from left.
