ST 40 SW BROADWINDSOR GREENHAM

4/41 Greenham House

Detached Villa. Early C19. Brick walls, stuccoed. Slate roof,
hipped. Two rendered brick stacks at rear rooms. 2 storeys with
cellars throughout. 3 windows to east entrance front, sashes with
thin glazing-bars. Stone cills, painted. Front doorway, round-headed,
with pilaster architrave and fanlight with wooden glazing-bars. Porch
with stone Roman Doric columns and a plain entablature. Lion's masks
recently attached. Door, C20, recess panels and many lights. Interior:
Staircase with plain mahogany handrail, wooden and cast-iron octagonal
balusters. Segmental-headed alcove. Marbled fireplace with reeded
pilasters. Plaster cornices with palmette and rinceaux decoration.
