Farmhouse. Cl7, remodelled c1850 with minor later additions and alterations.
Roughly coursed slate-stone rubble with slate-stone banding; slate hung to
front and left gable end; slate roof. 2 storeys with eaves raised in mid-C19.
Three-window front, 6-paned sashes with horns. Central entrance; C19 yellow
brick porch with half-glazed door. Integral end stacks with shafts rebuilt
in late C20 red brick. 2-storey outshut added to rear and outbuilding attached
at right-angles to rear on left.
Interior: Infilled open fireplaces and C17 collar truss roof in 6 bays with
truncated thatching spars visible in roof space below raising at eaves.
