House. 1716 P G on rainwater heads. Red brick with deep coved plaster
eaves cornice and hipped old tile roof. End stacks to left and right
and 2 dormers with triangular pediments. 2 storeys and attic; 5 bays.
Glazing bar sashes; blank first floor windows in second and fourth bays.
Flight of 4 stone steps with iron railings to central panelled door with
flat stone hood supported by acanthus leaf brackets to left and right and
by a central cherub's head with wings. Plinth and plat band. Late C19
2 storey and attic addition to right with large Flemish gable; one
storey C18 block to its right. North and east fronts have lead rainwater
heads. Interior: C18 panelling and staircase. B.O.E.Berkshire.p.114.
