Houses, now partly offices. Late C18 to probably C17 core.
Brick; asbestos tile roof, hipped to right, with leadwork;
brick ridge stack and stack to right, both with dentilled
band. 2-storeys and attic; 3-window range: early C19, 6/6
sashes in moulded cases under gauged brick flat arches; brick
modillioned eaves; 2 hipped dormers with casements in moulded
architraves. Ground floor has central pair of 6-panel doors,
one with C19 overlight, one with fanlight, in beaded cases,
under flat hoods on tapered banded pilasters. To left is tall
light with blocked head, in beaded and moulded case under
gauged brick flat arch, and 6/6 sash, over blocked opening
under gauged brick flat arch. Right return, curved; 3-storeys
and attic; 6/6 sash in moulded case, under gauged brick flat
arch; similar over; brick modillion eaves continuing round
return; similar dormer. Ground floor has 6/3 sash with crude
stone sill, under gauged brick flat arch. Right gable wall of
rubble with brick quoins. Stone wing to rear with brick end
stack; brickwork panel over timber plate. Site of Corve Gate.
