House. 1812 (datestone). Built for R. Trevan. Rendered and painted stone rubble.
Slate roof with half-hipped end on left and gable end on right. Brick chimney stack
on left-hand half-hipped end.
2 room double depth plan one room wide with entrance, probably leading into stair
hall on right. Evidence of some remodelling on left-hand side wall.
2 storeys and attic. Regular 2-window front. Ground floor with C20 door to right
with roughly chamfered lintel. 2-light casement to left with similar 2-light
casements above, the right-hand casement probably C19 and the others party repaired
or renewed.
Interior not inspected.
Included for group value.
House probably built for Dr Trevan who lived in the adjoining Trevan House (qv No 8,
Trevan House, Dolphin Street).
