Early C19 facade. Southern bay lower than northern, once probably 2 cottages.
Red brick with old tiled roof. 2 storeys, 2 windows, C19 casements above.
Southern part has small C19 shop window with side pilasters. Northern
part has C19 shop front with side pilasters. Grade II for group value.

No 9 (Baltic House) forms part of a group with the listed buildings on
Friday Street and also with Nos 10 to 12 (consec) Thameside.
