GV II*

House. Mid C18 by TF Pritchard. Coursed stone rubble; hipped
Welsh slate roof; brick end stacks. 2-storeys, attic and
cellar; 5-window range: central 13/6 sash with semi-circular
head and moulded shouldered architrave, with sill on corbells,
in protruding bay with moulded pediment over; flanked by
paired 9/6 sashes in moulded cases under flat arches; wood
moulded, modillioned eaves; 2 dormers with cambered lead roofs
and 3/3 sashes. Hipped dormer with casement. Central steps and
handrails to 6-panel door and fanlight in plain stone
round-headed case under stone open pediment moulded hood on
stone pilasters; flanked by 2/2 sashes with shouldered
architraves under frieze and cornice extension of door hood;
flanked by pairs of 9/6 sashes in moulded cases. Rendered
reveals to all sashes. Returns of central bay house rainwater
goods.
