Merriefields Cottage

GV II

House. Late C18 altered in C19. Built of stone rubble,
heightened with 5 courses Of brick. Slate roof with 2 brick
chimneystacks. 2 storeys and attics, 3 windows. 2 gabled
dormers. 3 C19 sashes with vertical glazing bars only in
moulded wooden architraves with cambered heads to 1st floor.
Doorcase with flat hood and trelliswork porch. 5 panelled
door, the top 2 panels glazed.
