Black Horse Public House

GV II

Public house. Late C18 and late C19, possibly incorporating
earlier fabric. Painted incised stucco with painted plinth and
ashlar dressings; roof of Welsh slate with yellow brick
chimneys. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Plain stone surround with
impost bands and plain cornice to central renewed 6-panel
door. Full-height canted bay windows have stone sill and floor
bands to 4-pane sashes. Eaves band and shallow parapet
contiues around canted bays. Roof has corniced end chimneys.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
