Long terrace of houses. c.1815-20 Portman Estate development. Stock
brick with channelled stucco ground floors; concealed slate roofs. 4
storeys and basement. 2-window wide fronts. Squareheaded doorways to
left; panelled doors in pilaster jambs with cornice-heads below fanlights,
most of them patterned. Recessed glazing bar sashes, under flat gauged
(mostly red brick) arches; No. 84 has stucco architraves to windows.
Plat band over ground floor. Stone coped parapets; Nos. 66, 68, 80, 82
and 92 have crowning stucco cornices and blocking courses. Cast iron
anthemion geometric pattern balconies continuous to 1st floor. Cast iron
area railings with foliated spearhead finials.
