GV II

Pair of attached houses, now offices. Late C18, rebuilt c1990.
Brick with limestone dressings, party wall stacks and pantile
roof. Open plan offices. Late Georgian style. Each of 3
storeys, attic and basement; 2-window range. Part of a stepped
terrace, with ramped cornice and parapet; pedimented
semicircular-arched doorways with fanlights and 6-panel doors.
5 stepped voussoirs to 6/6-pane sashes. INTERIOR not
inspected. Rebuilt in facsimile, included to maintain
landscape value of approach to Portland Square (qv).
