GV II

Terraced houses. c.1845. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond,
stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement,
two windows each. Nos 12, 17-21 project forward slightly.
Basement and ground floor stuccoed, the ground floor decorated
with banded rustication. Segmental-arched entrance with
pilaster jambs, cornice and fanlight, with decorative glazing
to nos 17-21, 24 and 26; doors with two narrow panels to nos
12-17, 20-25, 27. Sill band terminating the stucco at
first-floor level. Upper windows flat-arched with gauged brick
heads and iron balconies to first floor. Sashes of original
design to nos 12-13 (ground and first floors), 14, 15 (ground
and second floors), 16, 17 (ground and second floors), 18
(ground and first floors), 19-20, 21-22 (ground and first
floors), 25-26 and 27 (first floor). Stucco cornice and
blocking course, the cornice missing from nos 22 and 24.
Stacks to party walls. Area railings with fleur-de-lys
finials.
