Pair of lodges, gate piers and gates. Early C19. Colourwashed
brick. Slate roofs. Square plan in one storey. Each side with
a rounded recessed panel pierced by a sash with radial bars to
the heads. Pyramid roofs with central stacks. South lodge with
extension added 1960, north lodge extension 1989. Lodges
linked by wrought-iron pedestrian gates to central pair of
square section piers. Piers support wrought-iron double-leaf
gates below ornamental overthrow. INTERIOR. Simple. High coved
ceilings.
