4/164 Nursery Cottage

GV II

House. C16 extended to right and rear in C18, restored in C20. Timber frame,
exposed with brick infill to front, red and brown brick extensions; plain tiled
roofs with weatherboard gable to right and hipped lower roofs over extensions.
Two storeys, with front stack to right of centre. 3 framed bays with irregular
fenestration. 3 C20 casement windows across first floor to centre and left.
Two windows on ground floor, one to each end. C20 door to centre with leaded
flanking window to left in open gabled weatherboard porch with wooden supports
on brick dado walling. Right hand return front:- 1 window in end on each floor;
with further window on each floor in extension. Rear: Two storeys, with plat
band over ground floor, two windows across.
