A pair of houses. C18. Reddish-brown brick. New cement tile roof. 3 storeys. Each 2 bays. No 146 has an entrance to the left with a panelled door. No 148 has a central entrance with rectangular fanlight with glazing bars and a new door. Both have wooden doorcases with reeded pilasters, simple entablature and dentilled cornice. The windows are 16-pane sashes in flush cases except for the windows to the right on each floor at No 146 which have late glazing. Splayed stucco heads.
