Arcades. We are standing in the south aisle. In front of us are the tall arches of the south arcade, which separate it from the nave. Beyond, to the left is the north transept arch, glazed and panelled to allow for a separate meeting room in the church. Next is the chancel arch, then the south transept east arcade. Where two sets of arches cross, the one at the back opens the chancel into the south transept east aisle. (Photo Oct 2007).
