House and shop. Early C19. Red brick. Roof not visible from street.
Corner building with recessed quadrant at angle. 3 storeys. Moulded
wooden cornice and rendered blocking course with stone coping. 2 + 1 + 2
bays; 20-pane glazing bar sashes (16-pane to second floor) with painted
stone cills and gauged-brick heads. Curved sashes to corner. Early C19
shop front with unfluted Ionic pilasters supporting frieze (partly obscured
by C20 fascia at time of survey- November 1986) and cornice. Pair of
plate-glass windows to front, curved to central glazed door with overlight.
Right-hand first-floor window to side replaced by late C19 wooden oriel.
Interior not inspected but single unfluted Ionic column noted inside shop.
