House. C16 or earlier, hall part fronted in brick and E wing and
parallel rear wing built in early C19. Timber frame. W wing on
a flint sill with tile pinnings under the sillplate and red brick
angles. Roughcast with a dark weatherboarded apron. Grey brick
casing to hall range and grey brick E wing and rear extension.
Steep old red tile roofs. One and a half storeys, central
chimney, hall range facing S with 2-storeys jettied W crosswing
and C19 2-storeys E crosswing. Entrance into E end of hall range
and separate door into W crosswing. S front has 2, 3-light,
gabled dormers to eaves of the hall range, 2-light and 3-light
transomed casement windows with segmental arches to ground floor
and 4 panel flush boarded door. Heavy brackets to jetty of W
wing, step up to boarded door with a 2-light casement window with
internal shutter to left. 3-light similar window to 1st floor
with dripboard and bargeboard to gable. Cusped bargeboard and
pendant to E wing, with a triple sash window to each floor.
Central chimney with old moulded cap to hall.
