Nos. 26 and 28 and outbuilding attached to No. 28

House and cottage. Mid - late C18; raised and extended in C19; further
later alteration. Chalkstone with brick extension, the whole whitewashed;
pantile roof with brick stacks. Low 2-storey, 4-window front, with lean-to
outbuilding at left. Segment-arched board door to No. 26 at right, with 2-
light, large-pane horizontal-sliding sashes at left and to first floor.
Board door with timber lintel to No. 28, flanked by 2-light, 12-pane
horizontal-sliding sashes; inserted small fixed-light window further to
right. First-floor windows also 2-light, small-pane horizontal-sliding
sashes. Timber lintels to ground-floor windows. Cogged brick eaves course.
End and left- and right-of-centre stacks. Outbuilding has no openings on
street.
