House. Mid to late C18, altered and extended in C19 and C20. Red brick.
Shallow hipped slate roof. Originally 5 bays. 2 storeys. Central
entrance: part glazed door with 5 radiating cusped lights in
semi-circular fanlight, key blocked archivolt and pedimented doorcase.
Ground floor left 2 tall 2 light C19 casements with gauged brick flat
arched heads. Right 2 bays have a full height C19 canted bay with
similar casements and a plat band. First floor: 3 bays to left have
flush frame glazing bar sashes, flat arched heads. Moulded boxed eaves.
2 bay C20 extension to right following C18 model, ground floor blind
openings, first floor sashes. 2 stacks on rear pitch with triple flues.
Left return has a ground floor rectangular projecting bay with 2 light
casements and a hipped roof. Lower 2 storey 1 bay addition to rear left.
To rear right an C18 wing extends at right angles, this possibly earlier
than front range, 5 bays of glazing bar sashes with cambered heads,
dentilled brick eaves, gable end to rear, casements on rear elevation.
Interior not inspected.
