House, now 2 houses. Later C17, parallel rear outshut C18, front
cased in brick in late C19. Timber frame roughcast over high
weatherboarded plinth at rear, weatherboarded S gable. White
brick casing to front. Old red tile roofs. A long, 2-storeys,
L-shaped building facing W with 2-storeys rear outshut and rear
wing at NE. Large red brick central chimney to S half: rear
chimney to N part at junction with wing. Formal brick front 4
windows wide with projecting boxed eaves. Wider windows with
gauged arches flank the door and there is a small pilastered C19
shopfront at RH end of front. Recessed sash windows with 6/6
panes. 6-panel flush beaded door with rectangular fanlight.
Margin-light half-glazed shop door beside 3-light window with
brick stallriser and fascia over. Flush box similar sash windows
with moulded surrounds and 6/6 panes at rear. Some front windows
of 2A at N part altered to 2/2 panes.
