House. Early C18 with C19 alteration and extension. Dressed limestone with limestone
quoins and dressings; timber eaves course; slate roof. Central-entrance plan with
service wing to left rear; other rear extensions added. 2-storey and attic, 7-window
front. Chamfered plinth. Central 18-pane glazed door with divided overlight in plan
doorcase beneath cantilevered hood. 3 tall 18-pane sashes to either side. Over the
door is a later inserted 8-pane sash in a raised architrave, with similar replacement
window to the right. Remaining first-floor windows are 18-pane sashes. Stone sills
to all ground and first-floor windows. Flat arches to all openings except to door
and window above. Paired modillion eaves course. 3 late C19 dormers to attic. Coped
gables and shaped kneelers. End and stairs, turned balusters with square knops, and
moulded handrail. 6-panel doors with original door furniture to ground-floor front
rooms.
