Earlier C18. Red brick, machine tile roof. Painted stone
pilasters, quoins, keystones and entablature. Double, hipped,
old tile roofs. 3 storeys. 1:3:1 sash windows, 1st floor 6/6-
panes, 2nd floor 3/3-panes. Full height rusticated pilasters to
centre, quoins to ends. Floor band. Segmental headed ground
floor lights with voussoirs, those of 1st and 2nd floors with
keystones. Modern console doorcase and ground floor windows.
Rear elevations parapeted and with canted, full-height, window
bay. Home of John Loudon McAdam, road engineer, 1827-1836.
