SD 97 NW BUCKDEN HUBBERHOLME

6/41 Church Farmhouse

Farmhouse and cottage. C17 with C18 and C19 alterations. Coursed
limestone rubble, whitewashed; graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 4
bays. A half-glazed door in slightly projecting plain surround between bays
1 and 2 and between bays 2 and 3. Fenestration: bays 1 and 2 have similar
windows - to ground floor a 16-pane sash in slightly projecting plain
surround and an unequally hung 12-pane sash with slight lintel and sill but
lacking jambs to first floor. Bays 3 and 4 also have similar windows: to
ground floor an unequally hung sash in an almost square stone surround;
reset 3-light recessed chamfered mullion windows above. End stack left;
ridge stacks to left of central entrance door and between bays 3 and 4.
Interior not inspected at re-survey.
