St John's Vicarage

GV II

Vicarage. 1862. Yellow brick with ashlar dressings and hipped
slate roof with 2 ridge and single side wall stacks. Plinth
and first-floor sill band. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Square
plan. 3 segment-headed plain sashes and below, pilastered
wooden doorcase with flat stone hood, panelled recess and
fielded 6-panel door with overlight. To left, a segment-headed
plain sash. To right, a canted hipped bay window with plain
sashes. Garden front, to right, has 3 plain sashes and below,
2 canted bay windows. Included for group value.
