Farmhouse, now house. Dated 1783 on rainwater head at left corner. Hand-made brown brick in Flemish bond (English garden wall bond sides and rear). Rectangular double-depth double-fronted plan, plus small service wing attached to rear left corner. Two storeys plus cellars and attics, 3 windows, almost symmetrical. The doorway, offset slightly right, is round-headed with a tall pedimented architrave including panelled pilasters and rosettes on the entablatures, a 4-panel door, and fanlight with radiating glazing bars. The ground floor has 2 large segmental-headed tripartite sashed windows with glazing bars; the 1st floor has 3 widely spaced 12-pane sashed windows; and all these sashes are unhorned and have exposed boxes. Gable chimneys. Attached to the left corner is a downspout which has a lead rainwater head and bracket below with raised lettering "R S" and "1783 respectively. This gable has a round-headed attic window; and attached to the rear corner is a low single-storey service wing with a lean-to porch in the angle and tripartite windows. The right-hand gable wall has 2 large tripartite windows at ground floor, like those at the front, two 12-pane sashes at 1st floor, and a round-headed attic window; and continued to the rear a ramped screen wall with an archway at the junction. The rear has a lean-to porch in the centre (altered as a toilet, and the doorway blocked), a C20 tripartite window to the right (like the others) and two 12-pane sashes above. INTERIOR: elegant stone spiral staircase in enclosed position between kitchen and morning room, continued down to cellars.
