GV II

House, now day centre and warden's flat. Mid C18, completely
restored c1980, retaining facade. Brick; stone plinth;
graduated Welsh slate roof, with central gable to front, and
brick-coped gable parapets. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window
range: 6/6 sashes, under gauged brick flat arches; storeyband;
moulded eaves; central gable, over advanced bay, with
semicircular sash and arch. Central entrance with 6-panel door
and ornamental fanlight, under C19 deep moulded semicircular
hood on decorated brackets and panelled pilasters; flanked by
pairs of 6/6 sashes under gauged brick flat arches;
storeyband; returned brick pilasters. Right returned side:
returned bands; 6/6 sash under gauged brick flat arch, with
casement over; stone tablet: "B & I Bird 1742"; wall, now part
of lean-to, continues to right. Similar left returned side.
