Memorial column. c1809 by Thomas Hardwick, executed by Wood of
Hereford. Ashlar. Stepped base with buttresses and prominent
cornice; Tuscan column with anchors and rope swags; moulded
capital; urn clasped by dolphins. Frieze and restored tablet
with inscription.
